Angelique Francis is a JUNO Award-winning and 2x Canadian Blues Award-winning multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and composer known for her electrifying live performances and genre-spanning sound. Her music blends blues, soul, folk, Americana, jazz, gospel, and rock, creating a rich and dynamic musical experience.

Recognized for her powerful, textured vocals and instrumental versatility, she draws influence from legendary artists such as Big Mama Thornton, Koko Taylor, Aretha Franklin, and Bessie Smith. Her performances are known for their emotional depth, technical skill, and strong stage presence.

Angelique Francis has performed internationally and is widely regarded as one of Canada’s most compelling contemporary blues artists.

The Toronto Blues Society (TBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the legacy of blues music. As it celebrates over 40 years of supporting the genre, it continues to honour its roots while fostering future generations of artists.
