Two X 30

Two X 30

‘Two x 30’ explores the inextricable link between our collective and unconscious patterns of  movement and our environment – the landscape and waterways, and surrounding architecture. What begins as ‘passing each other on the sidewalk’ soon develops into an intricate physical conversation, highlighting the complexity of human interaction and communication. It is an outdoor contemporary dance/live art work, presented in a series of 50-minute duet performances, stretching across the city of Toronto in May/June 2022.

Each highly-structured, improvised movement-based performance is paired with a robust sonic score which supports and enhances the viewing experience.

Audiences are encouraged to view the work from a variety of vantage points, on all sides of the performance area, as possible. They may sit or stand, to shift their viewing perspective.

All performances are FREE and open to the public.
