Music is a universal language that brings people together. By highlighting music at Union, we’re investing in connecting our unique communities through the language of music across Toronto and the GTA and creating a space where we can all feel welcomed at the station.  Our goal is to work with organizations and people in the creative industries to provide them with a platform to reach new audiences, as well as infuse Union with musical energy.

Union Beats sponsored by TD was established as Union’s DJ program in 2018 and is a great way to enliven the many new spaces at Union.  The popularity of the program, support from TD and our music partnerships in the city, has led to its growth over the past few years.  In addition to supporting emerging artists, we also work with established and well-known DJ’s in the city and internationally.  You never know who you may catch spinning at Union!

Union works alongside our partners, The Remix Project who help us select and curate a “DJ of the month”. Look out for their performances which will pop up in various locations around the station to bring you some fresh energy on your commute, on your way to a game, or meeting up with friends.,

About The Remix Project

The Remix Project helps level the playing field for talented youth who face barriers pursuing careers in arts and entertainment.

Through multidisciplinary arts training, students focus on personal and professional development to strengthen the creative community and help make the next generation of industry leaders.
