STEVEN TAETZ is a contemporary roots, pop, jazz singer and songwriter who performs original material and innovative interpretations of classic hits. As a lyricist and composer, he has written for many internationally renowned artists, and his own musical style has been compared to greats like k.d lang, Roy Orbison, and Norah Jones. For his upcoming next studio album, he has collaborated with Grammy- and JUNO-recognized talent, including Jill Barber, Jenn Grant, Caroline Marie Brooks of Good Lovelies, Drew Jurecka, Emma Lee, and many more. Steven has performed across North America at leading venues and festivals including Carnegie Hall, Rochester Intnl. Jazz Festival, Washington DC’s Capital Pride, Montreal’s L’Astral Theatre, and L.A.’s Hotel Cafe. Steven and his top-tier band look forward to their return performance at Union Summer.
