Get Ready for the Holidays at Union!

You may have noticed the hoarding down at Amano, our new pasta concept in the York Street Promenade this week. Amano is the first full service restaurant offering at Union in decades and we are thrilled to invite you to stop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even to meet friends for an after work drink, beginning Monday December 4th!

Monday morning commuters will also be able to experience the delicious scent of cinnamon from Danish Pastry House, grab a hot drink from Pilot Coffee who will be in their new and permanent location. Or perhaps after work, get some early holiday shopping in at  CXBO Chocolate (in our new pop-up shop until February), get your favourite team shirt at Peace Collective and enjoy Naked Beauty Bar.

You can then wrap up these gifts for free at our TD Gift Wrapping station in the West Wing. We will also be supporting these openings with a stellar programming schedule packed with Canadian talent.

Highlights include:

— Monday, December 4  – Kenyan Boys Choir presented by WE Day

“Union Sings” a new weekly programme where you can come and learn a song with a trained choir, led by a Famous Canadian Artist each week

December 7 – Choir Nation lead by Murray Foster of Great Big Sea – singing Imagine
December 14 – Choir National lead by Oh Susanna
December 21 – Choir Nation lead by Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene

— Sunday, December 10 – we will be screening a holiday film

— Saturday, December 16, 2017 – Meet and Greet with Youtube Star Yolanda Gampp of “How to Cake It” (over 3 million subscribers on her channel)

— Thursday December 21 – current members of Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio doing an acoustic rehearsal at noon

The full event schedule is available HERE.

This is just the beginning! We hope you will be able to join us to celebrate this month!
