Joshua “Classic Roots” DePerry is an Indigenous DJ, music producer, and performer of Ojibwe and Blackfoot heritage. Originally from Thunder Bay and Long Lake 58 First Nation and now based in Toronto, he is recognized for blending electronic music with traditional Indigenous rhythms to create a sound that is both innovative and deeply rooted in culture.

His high-energy performances have appeared on national and international stages including Future Forest, TIFF, imagineNATIVE, Luminato, and London’s Trafalgar Square. Through music, Classic Roots celebrates cultural pride, resilience, and creativity while delivering unforgettable dancefloor experiences.
