Returning to Union – Graeme Jonez is a First Nations indie roots-rock artist and songwriter. A natural storyteller, Jonez’s music is shaped by his Anishinaabe culture, poetic lyricism and vintage musical influences.
A member of the Sheguiandah First Nation on Manitoulin Island, Jonez is a Downie Wenjack Fund Artist Ambassador, a member of the Verified Indigenous Performer (VIP) program and an alumni of Manitoba Music’s Indigenous Music Residency. The Toronto-based artist has a sophomore album set for release this summer.
