CHATTA
Seducing listeners with her intoxicating Dancehall style, Chatta has captivated audiences worldwide with her electrifying and high-octane Dancehall style. Her journey began with the release of her first EP album, “Speed of Consciousness,” in 2004, which soared to the top of Roots I Radio in Kingston, Jamaica. In 2015, Chatta dropped the powerful single “Clear Off Dutty Heart”; a track that dives deep into the pervasive issue of “Bad” minds, or envy, even among those you least expect. With a message that champions rejoicing in the success of our brothers and sisters, the song inspires positive thoughts that turn into positive actions, strengthening relationships, communities, and nations. Over the years, Chatta has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Top Dancehall Female Artist at the 21st Annual Canadian Reggae Music Awards in 2007, organized by Winston Hewitt. She also won nearly ten consecutive female Dancehall DJ recognition awards at the annual ReggaeXclusive Awards, solidifying her status as a top performer in the genre. Her performances at high- profile venues such as The Honey Jam, Toronto International Reggae Awards, the Annual Jamaica Independence Day Celebration, The University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, Montreal Reggae Festival, Marcus Garvey Show, have never failed to energize and uplift her audience. With her electrifying and high-octane lyrical and staccato vocals combined with provocative and percussive rhythms, Chatta wields her voice as a weapon against negative thoughts and words. She invites all who hear her to shed what is intended to destroy and embrace the true value and gift of life. Grace Marr
Up-and-coming Canadian powerhouse, Grace Marr, is a multi-genre songwriter and recording artist known for her fusion of Gospel/CCM, Pop, and R&B. Most notably Grace co-wrote ‘Where Would I Be’ on Maverick City Music’s TRIBL Anthologies album (released shortly after the music group’s Grammy win for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album) and has performed on stages such as tiff, Breakfast Television, and NXNE. Given her time writing for and with Hiphop/Rap, R&B, Christian, and Pop artists, Grace has developed her own honest songcraft with a raw, soulful pop sound that bridges faith with everyday life. A sound that you can find on her debut album, Saving Grace available now on all streaming platforms.
Holly Clausius
Holly Clausius is a queer Toronto artist with a timeless, unique sound, mixing genres of pop, soul, folk and rock. As a lyricist, her distinct point of view and witty nature creates a safe space for authenticity. In 2021, her award winning single “Big Plans” was praised by Deborah Cox, Priyanka, and Tegan and Sara. More recently, Clausius’ track ‘Yellow Dress’ was highlighted on season 2 of Netflix’s original show ‘Ginny and Georgia’. In the last year, Holly has completed her Cross Canada Wildflowers Tour to sold out audiences in Kingston, Ottawa, London, Montreal, and Vancouver and her first solo European/UK tour across Amsterdam, London, Paris and Brighton in October 2023. With an evolving sound and dedication to live performance, her next project will be hook laden, euphoric, and influenced by 70’s glam rock/soul. Look out for Holly on the road this spring/summer across Canada and in the studio with Canadian icons, Serena Ryder and Hill Kourkoutis.
Margaret Williams
Margaret Williams is a Toronto-based Singer/Songwriter known for her powerful voice and passion for songwriting. Her musical journey began at age 9, when she started writing original songs using Studio One. In 2022, she won the Canada Center Stage Singing Competition with a captivating performance of “Hallelujah”. Margaret has performed at countless events including the Harry Jerome Awards, the US Consulate 4th of July Celebration, the Hope Gala& Awards for Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario, and Theatre on the Ridge’s “The Song of Samuel”. For Margaret, Songwriting has been her outlet to share her voice and connect with audiences around the GTA. Margaret is currently working on her debut album and she is very excited to share her collection of original music.
REMIE
REMIE Toronto born Jamaican-Australian artist Remie is a 22-year-old vocalist, songwriter and producer. Featuring a musical blend of R&B and Alt-Pop genres, her influences stem from the likes of Sade, 070Shake and Greentea Peng. In her enigmatic tone, Remie sets to create a captivating sound, marked by lyrics inspired by love, heartache, and personal growth. Her talents have allowed her to take part in different initiatives and landed her a feature on CBC Metro Morning Radio, and as a featured artist of the renowned Honey Jam Artist Development Program.
Simone Miller
Simone Miller is an actress and singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada. From a young age, Simone has always enjoyed being a performer and has sung since she was able to speak. Simone’s life in the the spotlight began at the young age of 10! She was fortunate to quickly book many commercials and game shows early in her career. Her first big break came when she was cast as the lead; Raign Westbrook in the CBC web series; Detention Adventure, which continued on for 3 seasons. Since then, she has been cast as young “Dorinda Clark” in the Lifetime movie “The Clark Sisters” (executive producers include: Queen Latifah, and Mary J. Blige), in the hilarious “Workin Moms”, animated PBS children’s series “Pinkalicious” and just completed filming the second season of the family-friendly and fun-loving “Run The Burbs” as Mannix! Simone has been working diligently towards writing and composing her own original music and has released 4 original songs to date, along with two music videos, one of which she conceptualized and co-directed at 16 years old. In June of 2022, Simone landed her biggest gig to date by opening up for the legendary “Blue Rodeo” and the iconic “The Arkells”. Understanding the importance of giving back, Simone supports and volunteers for organizations that are close to her heart including the Jamaican Canadian Association, Violence Against Women Organizations.
V!LLAH
V!LLAH, the tiny but mighty Filipina rapper, singer, songwriter from Mississauga, ON who is breaking down barriers one performance at a time. V!LLAH started off singing at a young age, grew her love with karaoke and performing in front of family and strangers. Then on took the passion with poetry, which led into writing her very own raps. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Nas, and Freddie mercury to name a few. V!LLAH infuses her music with a fusion of empowering lyrics, infectious beats, and an unapologetic confidence.
