Sathish Bala (DJ SatsB) is a renowned Toronto-based DJ, producer, and music curator. With over 20 years of experience, he has hosted and produced DESIFEST, North America’s premier South Asian music festival. Known for his boundless energy and creativity, SatsB brings a dynamic presence to every engagement, captivating audiences with his innovative soundscapes and infectious enthusiasm. His contributions to the music scene have made him a celebrated figure in the industry, consistently pushing the boundaries of musical expression and entertainment.
DJ LailaB
Laila is a 16-year-old student who has been DJ’ing for the past few years, watching her dad since the age of 6. She has performed at DESIFEST, Union Station, College Park, Gala Events in Toronto and school events. Laila’s genre includes Bollywood, Urban Desi, Top 40 and RnB old school.
Shirsha
Shirsha Chakraborty is an award-winning Alt-Pop R&B singer-songwriter creating music with melodies that hook onto you and stories that make you feel seen. Her sound is a seamless blend of R&B, Pop, Jazz, Soul, Trap and her Indian roots.
Anoop
Anoop Isac, a Toronto-based guitarist, is from a musical family in India, where he began his musical journey under the guidance of his father. Currently leading his band “Slambo, Anoop is in the process
of releasing an album in collaboration with Juno Award winner Ravi Naimpally. With extensive touring experience across North America with award-winning bands, Anoop is a versatile artist proficient in Jazz and Carnatic/Indian music. His diverse performance repertoire spans pop, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Metal, Fusion, and Indian music.
Austin
Austin Gembora is a professional full-time musician & producer based in Toronto. After graduating Humber College in 2015, Austin has established himself as one of the most versatile and expressive drummers in the city, performing anything from bigger pop productions to r&b, hip hop, funk, country, modern jazz, big band jazz, and most recently West African music.
Ganesh
Ganesh is a musician, improviser, and composer based in Toronto. His work spans an eclectic set of styles from Carnatic and ghazals to jazz, rock, R&B, metal and contemporary. He works as a technologist during the day, currently trying to build his 3rd startup.
