Layla Staats (formerly Black) is a multidisciplinary artist specializing in digital media marketing and creation and an activist. Her activism for water protectiong and water rights for First Nations communities has taken her on a journey across Turtle Island and her gift for teaching and connecting has lest lasting impacts on young and old. Layla has produced her own short documentary, Blood and Water, which uses music to bring awareness to Indigneous injustices.
