Metrolinx is bringing awareness to passerby’s and handing out postcards to bing awareness as starting February 26, taking transit across municipal borders will be more simple, convenient, and affordable. With Ontario’s One Fare Program, transit riders will pay one fare when traveling between the TTC and GO Transit, or neighboring 905 municipal transit systems, including Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay, and York Region Transit using PRESTO. The program is a critical step towards creating an integrated and equitable regional transit network for all, making it easier for people to choose transit first! So stop on over the Bay Kiosk from 12:30pm to 6:00pm from February 26th to February 27th and the GO Bay Concourse from 3:00pm to 6:30pm on February 28th!
