Solidaridad Tango is North America’s original all-woman, diversity-affirming tango ensemble. It was founded in 2021 by Aparna Halpé, to create fair work, professional development, and performance opportunities for women tango musicians. Trained in historical tango performance practice focusing on Golden Age styles, Solidaridad is proud to present new music by women tango composers from around the world.
