VC2 Cello Duo is an innovative ensemble that captivates audiences through its performances of classical masterworks, unknown gems and boundary pushing music. Comprised of cellists Amahl Arulanandam and Bryan Holt, the pair present artistically challenging yet accessible programs and have been called “a tight unit, with excellent intonation and expression” (CBC Music). Both wear many musical hats as freelance musicians in Toronto, performing with many of the city’s leading arts organizations. The duo seeks to take a place at the forefront of the Canadian chamber music world by bringing their unique brand of cello-fueled music from coast-to-coast.
