Dereshean Jarrett, better known as OTR, is an audio engineer, DJ & producer based in Toronto, ON. His journey in music started at a young age with his first love for DJing; which then transitioned into producing, where he continued his learning at Toronto school ‘Trebas’. He continued on the engineering path and was accepted into ‘The Remix Project’ under the Recording Arts program. He has since built up his resume to work with a number of artists and companies, notably, Jhené Aiko, DVSN, COLORS Studios, Mercedes-Benz Canada, Reebok Canada and many more.
Growing up in a Jamaican household I was influenced by DJ mixes that my dad would play from groups like Stonelove.
Drake, B.Rob, Kavale, Jack Harlow, a lot of Afrobeats and dancehall.
The crowd engagement with the DJs on their daily commute.
I have 4 sisters, I am the youngest and only boy.
