I go by the name DoloindaCUT, and I’m a DJ and music producer from Toronto, Canada. I’ve had the opportunity to perform at some of the most high-profile events in North America, including the grand opening of the iconic Jordan Store in Toronto, the Moose Knuckles Toronto Flagship Launch, and Kappa x FootAction Eaton Centre. My experience extends to exclusive club performances, such as 1OAK Las Vegas, and I’ve completed two North American tours. In addition to DJing, I produced the beat/score for Kappa FW19 and Nike SS22.
My inspiration to become a DJ came from my father and older brother. Watching them as I grew up made it feel natural for me to step behind the decks when the time was right. Beyond that, I’ve always been fascinated by the way a DJ can control the energy of a crowd, seamlessly blending tracks to take the party to another level.
My playlist depends on my mood. If I’m in an R&B vibe, I’ll have Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “SSS4U” or my brother Roy Woods’ tracks from “Rolling Stone” on repeat. Lately, I’ve also been listening to Fridayy a lot. If I’m feeling Afrobeat, Rema – “Baby” is a go-to. And when I’m in a trap mood, I’ll throw on some Bossman Dlow, Hunxho, or Lil Baby.
What my favourite thing aboutUnion Station is its convenience. It connects you to anywhere in the city, from Scarborough to Brampton, making travel effortless. The newly renovated food court is also a highlight, offering a diverse range of dining options.
Many people don’t know that I’m also a music producer and engineer, with writing credits on multiple songs. Recently, I’ve taken an interest in graphic design—in my free time, I enjoy creating clothing designs and logos on my iPad.
