Union Summer- presented by TD, returns to Union Station’s Front Street plaza, running from June 24 to August 25th. Union Station is THE destination for all to enjoy the best of Toronto’s food and culture. This market offers 60-days of free outdoor experiences featuring dynamic music, live performances, curated food vendors and beat-the-heat beverages and desserts, all to celebrate summer in the city.

With an epic view of the CN Tower serving as the picturesque backdrop, Union Summer features some of the best live musicians, and DJ’s playing on the TD Stage. Gather, connect and experience the food, concerts and a whole lot more, just outside Union Station.

Union Summer presented by TD is an accessible event. Our programming is free every single day of the event and there is no cost to attend the event. Our site is physically accessible and barrier-free for mobility devices and we have a variety of seating and lounging options inside the market. Payments at our food vendors may be made with cash or card. If you have any inquiries about accessibility at Union Summer presented by TD, please reach out to alexa@torontounion.ca

Photo and Video Disclaimer

Osmington (Union Station) Inc. (“Toronto Union”) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at Union Summer without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Toronto Union may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by Toronto Union including but not limited to: brochures, newspapers, websites and social media.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending Union Summer who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should contact Toronto Union at alexa@torontounion.ca in writing of their intentions and include a photograph. Toronto Union will use the photo for identification purposes only and will hold it in confidence.

Union Summer Dog Policy

Recent amendments to bylaws give food establishment operators the option to allow patrons’ dogs into outdoor eating areas, such as patios. Service dogs’ access rights remain the same, and they are allowed in both indoor and outdoor dining areas. All local bylaws relating to dogs must be followed – Please refer to the Animals Bylaw, as well as City of Toronto’s Responsible Dog Ownership.

Patio Rules 

  1. Dogs should be up-to-date on vaccinations 
  2. Dogs must always remain on a short leash and in control by the owner. Dogs cannot be leashed to furniture, garbage bins, booths or other site elements – hold on to the leash at all times. 
  3. Do not leave your dog unattended. 
  4. Dogs should remain within the designated dog area.
  5. Respect the space of others. Do not let your dog run up to people or other dogs
  6. Dogs cannot sit on any upholstered furniture. 
  7. Dogs must be taken offsite to relieve themselves. 
  8. Please be prepared by bringing water for your dog. Do not feed your dog on the patio. 
  9. Dog owners are legally responsible for their dogs actions, including any injuries they may cause. Dogs that are displaying aggressive or intrusive behaviour will be asked to leave. This includes, but is not limited to: 
    • Barking/whining 
    • Chewing of property 
    • Aggression towards other people/animals 
    • Overly excitable dogs who may knock people/furniture down
